Turned up for squash feeling surprisingly sprightly and I started off well, taking out game 1 easily to 3.
I then proceeded to lose game 2, also to 3 before also losing game 3 to 7.
Game 4 also went the same way to not very many before Ric confirmed his dominance winning game 5 to 6. 4-1.
Not the greatest game ever, and I am always amazed just how much squash is a confidence thing and tends to roll in fits and spurts. Once you are on a roll, it is very difficult to stop the momentum. Still, a good game for Ric and he played well. I didn’t serve well.
I, on the other hand, felt very tired by the end. The legs certainly felt it anyway!
Back for pain tomorrow and then a ride home…
