Met up with Tim and Roly for what was supposed to be our first B&B double lap.
However, on reaching the Manly SLSC it became clear that that wasn't going to happen. The look on Tim's face said it all - there were some big old waves rolling in - bigger than anything we had attempted before...and certainly bigger than anything we were going to attempt!
Once Roly arrived we decided to walk to half way beach instead - from there we swam to Shelly before retracing our steps back to HWB. From there we swam out, half way to the point before joining in with the regular crowd to Shelly and then back to HWB for the last time.
Not the longest swim we have ever done, but still probably longer than normal. All up probably around 35 mins of swimming. Even out the back it was still choppy though. Some of the hardened crew went back through the surf - crazy people.
