On a particularly humid morning, I decided to start my birthday off with a trot around the normal Manly Road circuit.
Set off at a good pace with the aim being to average under 4.45's if I could.
Never felt totally comfortable the whole way due to the humidity which meant I was wet through from fairly early on. Kept pushing the pace throughout.
Saw Roly on the final pull along Manly beachfront which gave me a welcome rest.
All up 12km in 56.58, averaging 4.44's. Not bad considering the humidity, conditions which I always seem to struggle in.
