Met Tim for the last Pain for 2012. \
A lower than usual turnout on a deceptively warm day - when the sun got out it was very warm and muggy.
Went for a group 2/3 mixture, lead by a guy who shot off like a jack rabbit and was leading all the sprints until the G2G when he blew up. I didn't see him after that.
Felt slow, but comfortable the whole way.
G2G was done in 2.29 and ended up being a dead heat, although I think I might have taken it out on the line....
Finished strongly, although not the greatest of times overall - the recoveries in the second half in particular seemed slower than normal.
