With no real running to report since last Sunday, I headed out on what was a surprisingly warm Friday lunchtime.
With last night's ride still in the legs, I headed out over the Pyrmont Bridge for the usual wharves route. Felt good over the Anzac Bridge and around Glebe Foreshore and was averaging 4.20's until I hit the fishmarket when the wheels started to fall off a bit. From there, I had to dig in around the wharves with the pull back up onto Pyrmont Bridge a killer.
Finished all up in 51.19 which wasn't all that shabby considering...and will provide a yardstick for what is actually a pretty tough route. The last 10kms or so (by the time the Garmin picked me up) were done in 4.26's. Good to be averaging sub 4.30's in training.
