With Catherine away for a couple of nights helping the needy in Kempsey, I decided to take advantage of an early start to get in a swim before work.
Getting in the pool just after 7.15am, the place was packed...however as soon as 7.30am rolled around it was like an alarm went off and the place immediately emptied. As a result I managed most of my session with only a couple of large ladies for company. Not often I can say that.
With the legs sore from the weekend I wasn't that fussed on doing a proper set (not that I have ever done a proper set) so spent a lot of time with the pool buoy.
I still managed 2 x 500m efforts in the middle for 2km all up.
