Long hot Saturday run

Met Tim in Kirribilli this morning. Decided to head out and see how we felt and play the distance by ear.

Ran back to Neutral Bay to start, then up Wycombe, along Military Road to North Syndey, down Lavender Street, back across to Kirribilli, over the bridge, back down to Hickson Road, through Circular Quay, Farm Cove, Boy Charlton Pool, down to Woollomolloo (sp??), back through the Domain, then around Circ Quay and retracing our steps up through the Rocks and back over the bridge to finish off!

Turned into a long run in the end but we were feeling strong and so decided to push the distance rather than the pace, although we were chatting most of the way so time flew. Had a couple of bubbler stops in the city and the Botanic Gardens as it was an extremely warm morning. According to the car, it was 29 degrees when we finished! I was soaking wet through.

Good, easy run at a nice pace for a Saturday morning. Pushed the last couple of km's across the bridge to finish at pace.

Good to catch up with Tim too after a couple of months off.

Total km: 19.4km - average pace 5.32/km.
